Juventus to Keep Rovella Despite Manchester City and Arsenal Interest

Juventus prodigy Nicolo Rovella, who Is currently plying his trade on loan at Monza, is certain to arrive back in the Bianconeri colors at the end of the season. The Genoa youth product is one of Juventus’ most prized young assets and the club have no intention on letting him leave, irrespective of the heavy interest in him.

As per Tuttomercatoweb (via TuttoJuve), Manchester City possess ‘real’ interest in Rovella, as do a couple of other top Italian clubs. Nonetheless, Juventus have already made up their mind with regard to the future of the 20-year-old. It is reported that City sporting director Txiki Begiristain had sent scouts earlier in month to keep a close eye on the youngster, with Arsenal also showing interest.

Rovella is held high in regard in the sights of Massimiliano Allegri and the club hierarchy. The defensive midfielder is currently impressing with the Biancorossi, appearing almost regularly for the Lombardy side this season under Raffaele Palladino.

The loan deal at Monza extends only until the end of the season, after which Rovella will be at Juventus’ disposal for the 2023/24 season.
