Fiorentina could sell one of its star forwards in Christian Kouamé, having already shortlisted Niclas Fullkrug to arrive in Florence. The Ivorian marksman, used extensively by Vincenzo Italiano last season across various roles upfront, has been at the Artemio Franchi for three campaigns now, scoring a total of 8 goals in 78 appearances.
Transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio reports French outfit Nice and German minnows TSG Hoffenheim are both interested in signing Kouamé. The 25-year-old is the subject of loan interest from both sides, with perhaps the inclusion of a right-to-buy clause as the most viable option. There is no mention of interest in a permanent transfer by either.

The Viola management, at the same time, is keen on keeping hold of their star forward as they try to extend his stay. His contract expires in the summer of 2024, but Fiorentina want to make sure Kouamé stays in Florence at least for two extra years – until June 2026.

Our Take on Kouamé Exit Links
Kouamé has proved to be an integral part of Italiano’s side the past two seasons, although his inability to rack in goals in decisive moments has cost Fiorentina more often than not. He could very well see his way out with an apt offer – his current Transfermarkt value lies at €12M.
