Ylber Ramadani has settled in very quickly at Lecce, aptly replacing Morten Hjulmand, who moved o Sporting CP for a hefty sum, drawing the attention of Inter. The midfielder recounted a summit with the Nerazzurri’s director, Piero Ausilio, to the Albanian TV show Analuzy Kuqezi (via Tuttomercatoweb).
“He was in Tirana, we met and talked for a long time. It’s a very big motivation for me. I must never stop working to reach Inter.”
Ramadani would join his compatriot Kristjan Asllani if he indeed transferred to the Nerazzurri.
“I adapt very quickly. He’s more technical than me, and I do other things on the pitch. I can play next to one or two midfielders without a hitch.”
Ramadani will face Milan in the next round.
“Should I score against them, I’ll return and do the interview with my jersey on.”
According to A2, which is a CNN international affiliate, Inter scouted the Albanian international in the last two games. Lecce ask for €10M to sell him. They paid €1.2M to acquire him from Aberdeen in the past window. He would become an option especially if La Beneamata decided to cash in on Nicolò Barella next summer.
