Lobotka Not Too Concerned for Losing Against Lazio

Stanislav Lobotka isn’t worried about the recent defeat versus Lazio and chalked it up to the usual issues coming from a coaching change. He discussed it and more from the Slovakian set up ahead of the Euro qualifiers (via Tuttomercatoweb).

“Nobody expected us to win the title last season. There’s more pressure now. Many teams got better, so it will be hard to defend it. The Biancocelesti were able to read our intentions very well in the second half. They have a lot of quality and are good on counters.”

Lobotka hasn’t been as brilliant as under Luciano Spalletti in the early going.

“We have a new gaffer this season, so we’ll need some time to adapt to his innovations. We play in a slightly different fashion. Every manager has his style. You just need to get used to it.”

Our Take on Lobotka and the New-Look Napoli

While an early loss isn’t too concerning, how they opened up prairies while trying to equalize late against Lazio is. They were lucky the result wasn’t larger. While Spalletti’s squad moved in perfect unison in both phases, that hasn’t been the case with Garcia at the helm yet. In addition, they don’t have Kim Min-Jae, who can cover half the pitch on his own when they attack en masse.
