Lazio ace Sergej Milinkovic-Savic was treated to a thunderous round of applause by the Juventus fans at the Allianz Stadium despite a disappointing performance during the Biancocelesti’s humbling 3-0 defeat, igniting rumors of a potential transfer move for the Serbian midfielder – similar to what happened with Cristiano Ronaldo four years ago.
However, club president Claudio Lotito remains indifferent to the gesture bestowed by the Bianconeri faithful upon arguably his most marketable player. As reported by Il Messaggero (via LazioNews24), the patron doesn’t give a ‘damn’ about the applause.
“I’m not selling him and I don’t give a damn about the applause. The money counts, bring at least €100M to see him in the black and white colors.”
Lotito is understood to have met Milinkovic-Savic’s agent Mateja Kezman recently. Juventus reportedly, according to Tuttomercatoweb (via TuttoJuve) are preparing an offer in the range of €50M plus bonuses – something that is bound to be ignored by the Lazio backroom.
