Stating the obvious, it is no secret how Lazio ace Sergej Milinkovic-Savic’s name has become a general occurrence every transfer window, with potential talks of his exit from the capital club. However, it may not be long before the Serbian actually moves, but Biancocelesti coach Maurizio Sarri has the perfect replacement in sight.
According to Corriere dello Sport (via SportItalia), Sarri’s ‘dream’ is Piotr Zielinski, who has been absolutely instrumental in propelling Napoli’s charge in midfield this season.
Piotr Zieliński has attempted more shots while maintaining an exact 50/50 split between right and left foot than any other player in Europe's top five leagues this season.

Zielinski still has one more year left on his contract, but the Partenopei are touted to put forth an extension offer sooner rather than later to keep him put. Yet so far, no advancements have taken place between the player’s entourage and the club.
Sarri is understood to be a huge admirer of Zielinski, having worked with the player during his loan move from Udinese in 2015.

The Polish midfielder is an essential part of Luciano Spalletti’s well-oiled machine, and Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is expected to offer a two-year extension along with a pay hike for his services.
