New Juve Stopper Set to Sign for Salernitana on Loan

Just days after signing Valencia youth product Facundo Gonzalez, Juventus are preparing to send the youngster out on loan to fasten his development. Knowing the fact that playing time is going to be limited next season in a talented Bianconeri side under Max Allegri, Gonzalez is in line for a loan transfer.

As per Gianluca Di Marzio, Salernitana and Hellas Verona are in pole position to sign the highly-rated Uruguay U20 talent, who is ready to kickstart his career in Serie A. Moving to either side would grant him enough scope to develop further in his natural center-back position.

The U20 FIFA World Cup winner signs a contract until the summer of 2028 and is soon scheduled to complete his medical examinations at Juventus before leaving Turin on loan. Among the interested duo, it is Salernitana which are reportedly leading the race to sign Gonzalez. Sampdoria are in contention as well, Alfredo Pedullà reports.

Valencia will receive a percentage of a future 20% resale plus commissions for any dealings that further take place for Gonzalez.
