Porto playmaker Otavio may continue his career in Serie A following his agent’s landing in Italy to negotiate his client’s future. According to FcInterNews, the player’s entourage Israel Oliveira is currently in Italy, looking to broker the midfielder’s long-overdue transfer to a more prominent destination.
Otavio has two more years left to run on his contract at the Estadio do Dragao. On top of that, his current deal with Porto features a substantial €60m release clause. However, a clause valid until July 15 means he can leave for €40m. Given a tight timeframe, all interested parties will have to act quickly.
Speaking of Otavio’s admirers, three of them are in Italy. Milan, Inter, and Napoli have set watchful eyes on the 28-year-old, who has spent most of his senior career in Portugal.
