Torino have confirmed the signing of Belgian midfielder Dennis Praet, who has moved to Turin in sight of more playing time after he looked to be out of coach Brendan Rodgers’ first choice players at Leicester City.
Torino have lured the former Sampdoria midfielder on a season-long loan deal, with an option to buy for €15m.

He slipped down the pecking order after the arrival of Boubakary Soumare and promotion of academy graduate Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall. The Belgian moved to Leicester two years ago after garnering 106 appearances for Sampdoria over the course of three seasons.
Torino are keen on bolstering their midfield and defensive prowess after starting out the new Serie A season on a poor note, with consecutive 2-1 losses against Atalanta and Fiorentina.
The club are also interested in signing Schalke defender Ozan Kabak, who impressed on loan at Liverpool in the latter half of last season. Talks have already started between the clubs for a potential move.
