Torino Starlet Singo Eyed by Roma, Inter and Juventus

It is no secret about Roma’s intention to reinforce their squad ahead of the new season, and with Jose Mourinho confirmed to be staying, the Giallorossi fans could expect a wave of impressive signings. Among targeted players is Torino wingback Wilfried Singo.

Several names are reported to have emerged in the Roma management’s shortlist, led by sporting director Tiago Pinto. As per Tuttosport (via Voce Giallorossa), the Ivorian could take the step up from the Granata and perhaps work his way into the good books of Mourinho. Given Singo’s impending contract expiration at the end of next season, Torino are willing to sell him, in order to avoid losing him on a free transfer.

Singo has risen through Torino’s ranks in recent seasons, drawing the attention of not only Roma, but also two Serie A rivals in Inter and Juventus. One of the reasons that can be contemplated why Singo has not received a contract extension yet is perhaps because of recurring injuries and fitness problems. The right wingback has played almost 100 games with the club since joining in 2019/20, scoring 7 goals in the process.

22-year-old Singo is valued at €10-15M by the Granata, making him an affordable prospect to arrive in the summer for any interested club.
