Totti Junior Leaves Roma to Join Frosinone Primavera

Francesco Totti junior, Cristian Totti, is bound to experience a complicated path back to Roma if he wishes to continue or perhaps emulate his father’s legacy in the Italian capital. After advanced negotiations with Frosinone, it has been decided for Cristian to continue his development some hundred kilometers southeast of Rome.

As confirmed by 17-year-old Totti himself, through his Instagram profile, he will star for Frosinone Primavera in the upcoming season. He is unequivocally represented by Francesco as his agent.

Frosinone were linked to luring Totti for a few weeks now, and perhaps with the lack of development, the decision has been taken to star for the Canaries U18 side which plays in the Primavera 1 Championship, coached by Adamo Gregucci.

Last month, the Totti father-son duo undertook a reconnaissance mission, and as per Tuttomercatoweb reports, it is understood that Cristian will board at the Istituto San Bernardo, east of Frosinone proper, to continue his studies.

Our Take on Cristian Parting Ways with Roma

As the son of one the greatest one-club players in football history, Cristian Totti undoubtedly carries the weight of Francesco’s legacy on his back. Nevertheless, the teenager now has the chance to breathe without donning the Giallorossi colors – a move which could very well unleash his potential before he makes his way back to the capital.
