Agent Delivers Update on Arthur, Bernardeschi and Lukaku

Arthur and Federico Bernardeschi face an uncertain future at Juventus for different reasons. The midfielder wishes to get more minutes now that he is healthy. The winger has regained prominence in recent fixtures, but he is on an expiring contract.

Their agent Federico Pastorello talked to Sky Sport during the Globe Soccer Awards: “Arthur wants to be a protagonist at his own club, more so this year considering that there will be the World Cup. We are making the proper evaluations alongside the management, with great coherence and involvement. We are serene, and we will find a solution if need be. He got some playing time in the last three matches, as he started twice.”

While Arthur might be on his way out in January, Bernardeschi intends to stay put: “He is in the midst of a positive stretch. We held some talks, and we are not opposed to extending his contract. It is my job to provide some alternatives, and then it will be up to him to decide. But he is not thinking about leaving at the moment.”

Pastorello also weighed in on Romelu Lukaku’s transfer to Chelsea: “He made a precise choice, which we shared. He started great, and then he missed two months with an injury. The COVID outbreak hit him too while he was on the verge of returning. He played great against Aston Villa, he scored and drew a PK. He will have a starring role, and we and we are happy with the decision we made.”
