Giovanni Branchini, the agent of Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri, has lauded his client’s contribution to the side’s fortunes in the early portion of the 2023/2024 season. The Old Lady is in third position, two points shy of league-leading Inter, after taking down Milan. He spoke to GR Parlamento (via 90min).
“There’s a lot of Max in this new version of the team. The Next Gen squad playing in Serie C has a role too. There’s a mix of established veterans, newcomers, and a backbone of youngsters who are proving their worth. The gaffer is indispensable in all of that.”
Branchini addressed the supposed advantage of not playing in the cups.
“It’ll be helpful from the physical standpoint. We’ll see that in May or April. However, I believe that all external factors will cancel each other out and that the final result will mirror the values of the teams.”
“Allegri has always been the same. Coaches perform according to the rosters they have at their disposal. His experience advised him to be overly agitated in the final minutes of the Milan game, so the squad wouldn’t take risks.”
Branchini highlighted the magnitude of the result against the Rossoneri.
“If I know Allegri and Juventus’ mentality, they won’t get a bid head. Although, it’s important to them to believe they can compete with the best teams in the league.”
