Bremer Spices Up Upcoming Derby d’Italia with Inter

Gleison Bremer could have joined Inter had they sold Milan Skriniar two summers ago. Instead, the Bianconeri acquired him after partying ways with Matthijs De Ligt. He was quizzed about it by Alessandro Matri on DAZN (via Calciomercato).

“I never think that I could have played for Inter. I’m on the right side. I chose after speaking with Juventus, my agent, plus Danilo and Alex Sandro in the national team. It’ll be a duel until the end. Obtaining a result in Milan is never easy. I don’t think that whoever wins will take home the title, as there are many games left, but it’ll be an important step.”

Bremer dished on his first campaign in Turin and Cristiano Giuntoli.

“We were playing every three days, we had the Champions League, and it was complicated for me after coming in from Torino. It’s tough to do that if you’re not fully fit. I’m doing better and have a lot more self-confidence now. The director brought a lot of serenity.”

Bremer commented on their strikers.

“Vlahovic is strong physically. I give him a lot of advice when we square off against each other in practice. He’s good and improving a lot. Kenan Yildiz is a nice attacker too. We tackle him hard in training, but he doesn’t complain and keeps going. He has a lot of power in his legs and could have a nice career.”

Bremer disclosed Giorgio Chiellini’s suggestion.

“He told me to watch a lot of tape and study the opponents.”
