Conte Eager to Reunite with Inter Duo at Tottenham

After a relatively active transfer window over the month of January, Conte is eager to reunite with the Inter duo Stefan De Vrij and Arturo Vidal at Tottenham next season.

As it stands, the Nerazzurri are prepared to offload the 34 year-old central midfielder in order to make space within their wages for a more promising and exuberant signing within the central area of the pitch.

In addition, the Dutch international’s contract with La Beneamata is set to expire in the summer of 2023. With the negotiations regarding a renewal in order to extend De Vrij’s stay constantly being pushed away at a distance, it seems like the Italian giants may be forced to sell the experienced center-back this coming summer in order to avoid losing him on a free transfer.

As a result, according to The Sun, Conte is eyeing the situation very closely as he is keen on luring the pair of Nerazzurri players to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium next season in order  to enhance the quality of his squad with additional reinforcements.

The Italian tactician is very familiar with the two individuals as both players played a significant role within his titlewinning campaign at the helm of Inter during the 2020-21 Serie A season.

The gaffer strongly believes that bringing in both Inter players will implement a great deal of leadership and experience within his current squad, allowing the North London club to be major title contenders throughout next year’s season.
