Inter slumped to their second Serie A defeat in the space of three matches, going down to a spirited Sassuolo outfit who ousted the home side with goals from Gianluca Scamacca and Giacomo Raspadori. Having faced only three league losses so far, the Nerazzurri’s recent run of form has brought about doubts regarding their fight for a second successive Scudetti.
The Giuseppe Meazza was overcome with insecurity as Francesco Forneau blew the final whistle. However, Inter ultras in the Curva Nord continued to cheer Simone Inzaghi’s men with without reservation, in a bid to motivate them to take advantage of the relatively ‘easy’ fixtures in coming match weeks.
The hardcore supporters have now come forward with a press release on the Nerazzurri ultras page on Facebook, L’Urlo della Nord.
“No discouragement, no fear. It is a delicate and crucial moment for the fate of the season. Both we fans and the team must square up and find the right key to this situation of fogging in terms of results. The season is long and the highs are inevitably followed by lows, the important thing is to neutralize them and relaunch. The team is doing well, despite what was feared by the professional owls when the championship was still at the starting line. None of us will hold back, this Inter has and will have our unconditional support. And when a part of the San Siro audience understands that breath is more useful to use it to cheer, rather than to whistle, we will be even closer to the goal. Let us remember that to experience the absolute thrill of pure light one must learn to know darkness. Only in this way will we be able to truly experience the supreme emotion of victory.
We are always with you, we will never leave you! Let’s go Internazionale! Onwards with the Curva Nord!”
