Juventus Open Talks to Add Sassuolo Starlet to Their Attack

Juventus have identified Giacomo Raspadori as the top target to shore up their frontline. They have recently reached out to his entourage and Sassuolo to start the negotiation. The Italian striker would be less expensive than some of their other objectives.

The 22-year-old currently makes just €100k per year. He should soon sign an extension with the Neroverdi as a reward. However, as it happened with Davide Frattesi and Gianluca Scamacca, it does not mean that he will stay in the summer, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports.

Raspadori would be enthusiastic to join Juventus, and his wages would be moderate, the publication adds. His price tag is around €30M. The Bianconeri and Sassuolo arranged a two-year loan with obligation to buy for Manuel Locatelli last summer. The two clubs are on excellent terms and could easily replicate the same formula.

The Old Lady has multiple moving pieces up front. Paulo Dybala will leave on a free, and the future of Alvaro Morata and Moise Kean is also uncertain since they are on loan. They are intrigued by the versatility of the Italian international, who has also featured as a no.10 and as a left winger. He would not be mutually exclusive with Nicolò Zaniolo.

Inter and Napoli reportedly have Raspadori on their radar as well, but Juventus made the first tangible move ahead of the summer window. The Nerazzurri have started to prioritize the chase of Dybala once his departure became official. The Partenopei are keener on Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Hamed Traorè.
