Juventus Tipped to Miss Out on Two Targets, Barcelona Distant as Well

Moise Kean and Robin Gosens were heavily linked to Juventus during the Fabio Paratici era. However, for different reasons, neither has strong chances to move to Turin anytime soon. The Italian striker is nearing a return to PSG, while the star fullback may stay at Atalanta after all.

Gosens is in high demand like every summer, more so after the dominating display versus Portugal. However, the Bergamaschi have no need to sell him and have slapped a €40M price tag on him, Tuttomercatoweb reports. Juventus signaled yesterday that they will too much this summer and should continue relying on Alex Sandro in that role. The possible transfer of Gianluca Frabotta to Atalanta would cover only a small fraction of the cost.

Barcelona recently inquired about the German ace, but they got the same answer, the site indicates. José Gaya is a more likely candidate to replace Jordi Alba if the latter indeed left, Marca indicates. At this stage, Gosens has more chances to remain in Bergamo than to depart.

Kean wants to head back to Paris following the loan spell, Fabrizio Romano reports. The two clubs are discussing the same formula, with the addition of an option to buy. Everton will consult new coach Rafa Benitez before greenlighting the move. French TV M6 also informs that the negotiation is very advanced.

Another Juventus reunion will not happen but in this case outside the pitch. Massimiliano Allegri reached out to Andrea Barzagli to add him to his staff, but the former defender will become a TV pundit, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports.
