Alejandro Camano, the agent of Lautaro Martinez, alluded that coming to terms with Inter might take some time but didn’t anticipate any problems during the negotiation. He gave an interview to TuttoSport (via 90min).
“He can go as far as his dreams take him, and the Nerazzurri represent that at the moment. We’re in talks to receive a proposal that could satisfy him. It’s not easy, as it’s not something that will happen overnight, but we’re working to reach a positive agreement. Issues? I don’t think there’ll be any.”
Lautaro Martinez was approached by Saudi clubs but repelled them.
“That’s very true. He embodies Inter’s values, so we’re all happy and hope to get to an understanding with the club. Balloon d’Or? God willing! It’d be an enormous joy for everybody who wants to see him happy and a worldwide recognition.”
Camano further lauded Lautaro Martinez.
“He deserves a ten as a person and another for his family. He’s one of the top three strikers in the world. I can ensure that, considering my experience as an agent, it’s truly an honor to represent him. He has all the qualities I’d like to see in a son. He’s good-hearted, honest, and sympathetic. I think that’s why Inter handed him the captain’s armband. I always thought he was different from anybody else. He gives and demands respect and seriousness. It’s very interesting to work for him.”
