Milan Keeping Tabs on RB Salzburg Trio Including American Starlet

Milan have invested a lot in youngsters under the current management, and they will carry on with the productive strategy. The Rossoneri are eyeing three RB Salzburg players: Luka Sucic, Brenden Aaronson and Maurtis Kjaergaard. They have opened talks with their agents and the Austrian club to inquire about their availability, Calciomercato.com reports.

Sucic is a versatile midfielder that joined Salzburg in August 2020 from Liefering. He has tallied 4 goals and 4 assists in 41 appearances. He has scored in the most recent Champions League match against Sevilla. The 19-year-old can feature in multiple positions.

Instead, Aaronson is a pure attacking midfielder and made the jump from MLS to Europe last January. He is a regular for the United States Men’s National Team, for which he has posted five goals in ten appearances since February 2020. RB Salzburg signed him for €5.45M from Philadephia Union. The 20-year-old has found the target 10 times and set up 8 teammates in 39 matches with the Austrian outfit.

Kjaergaard is the younger of the bunch as he is 18, but he has an impressive physique. RB Salzburg acquired him from Liefering for €3M in June. He too is primarily a no.10, and he has played in four fixtures since switching teams. He has been highly productive in the second division in previous campaigns, registering 5 goals and 14 assists in 44 matches. Milan appear to be looking for ways to bolster their frontline. They tried to make a splash in the summer but had to settle with purchasing Junior Messias.
