Having been dealt with a plethora of injuries recently, Milan’s backline is depleted to the extreme end. The Rossoneri’s mainstay duo – Simon Kjaer and Fikayo Tomori – are both sidelined at the moment and they are left with inexperienced defenders at the back.
This situation has prompted Milan technical director Paolo Maldini and sporting director Ricky Massara to hunt for reinforcements at the back, shortlisting names all the way from the English Premier League to Serie A itself.
However, Italian outlet Tuttosport (via MilanNews) reports of a Ligue 1 player in the sights of Milan. Marseille defender Duje Caleta-Car, who has been with the Olympiens since 2018, is being touted for a move west to Milan from the southern French city. He has apparently been offered to Milan
The 1996-born centre-back, however, is a not of priority for the Rossoneri, according to the report.
