Paulo Dybala Would Reportedly Welcome Milan Courtship

The race to sign Paulo Dybala is moving slowly, and if he had to stay in Italy, he would reportedly pick Milan over Inter. However, such proposition clashes with the strict salary policy of the Rossoneri and his requests. The Nerazzurri already talked to his entourage but did not propose a wealthy contract, Corriere dello Sport informs.

If he had the right opportunity to do so, the Argentinian striker would rather leave Serie A. At this stage, the only other sides that seriously inquired about him are Arsenal and Newcastle. The forward is lukewarm on those destinations, although he is open to transferring to the Premier League.

Previous reports suggested that he aims to join Atletico Madrid. However, the Colchoneros already have a few second-strikers on their roster. Dybala would be a strong fit at Milan, considering their scheme and rich history of no.10s. On the other hand, their highest-paid player on the roster is Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who earns €7M per year. Such contract will come off the books in the summer, one way or the other. The Rossoneri stopped at €4.5M wages in their most recent extensions.

La Joya was asking for a €10M salary before the Old Lady broke off the talks. He would have to settle for way less if he signed with another Italian club. According to the newspaper, Inter offered him just a one-year deal. They did not want, or could not, commit more money. It will likely be a while before Dybala finds his next home.
