However, while that’s enough to put him under the microscope, it’s hardly sufficient for legal consequences. But it gives the Roma full-back every right to piece together a lawsuit against Corona. Unfazed by the columnist’s malicious claims, Zalewski remains at the Poland U-21 camp.
His alleged co-conspirators Zaniolo and Tonali have pulled out of the Italy squad amid the uncertainty surrounding their immediate footballing futures. These incidents have sent shockwaves through the football community, raising further concerns about the scale of the problem.
