Weston McKennie Out? Juventus Eye Two Bundesliga Replacements

Weston McKennie’s Juventus future seems to be doubtful and the talks of his departure from the club have accelerated in recent days, especially after the arrival of Manuel Locatelli.

The American international’s transfer was made permanent after an initial loan deal in which he impressed. But only few months later and it looks like he might be heading towards the exit door.

Massimiliano Allegri reportedly does not have McKennie in his 2021/22 season plans, which opens the door for the American to find a new club with only a few days left in the transfer market window.

According to reports from Sky Sports Italia (via JuveNews), the Bianconeri are aiming to get Bayern Munch’s Corentin Tolisso in a swap deal, which remains only one of their two options.

The other being the sale of McKennie for around the €25-30m range and invest those funds to bring in Dortmund ace Axel Witsel, whose contract with the German club expires at the end of the 2021/22 season.
