Christian Eriksen will soon have a heart starter (ICD) installed due to his recent cardiac attack. The device corrects the rhythm of the heartbeat if it notices a potentially dangerous pattern by sending electric shocks. It can serve as a defibrillator in extreme cases. While it is not impossible for him to resume playing, he may not be able to play in Italy as he would not be able to pass a medical. But it is still too early to tell for sure.
