Di Maria Lends Creedence to Juventus Buzz in Interview

Angel Di Maria intends to stay in Europe for another season, which boosts the chances of Juventus of putting him under contract. Previous reports suggested that the winger was considering moving to the MLS or Argentina, but that will not be the case, at least not right away.

The 34-year-old, who is on an expiring contract, addressed his future to Urbana Play radio: “My idea is to keep playing for another year in Europe to approach the World Cup in the best possible fashion, if I make the squad, and then head back to my home country. I do not know whether PSG wants me to stay. If they do not, I will evaluate other teams.”

According to Sky, Juventus are willing to make an exception to their transfer market policy for Di Maria, especially because it would be a short-term deal.
