Juventus have been tipped to be among the possible landing spots for Angel Di Maria, who will most likely leave PSG at the end of his expiring contract. While the parties have yet to formally start negotiating, there is momentum towards his arrival in Turin, TuttoSport informs.
The Argentinian veteran is mulling over his future, as he might opt to move to the MLS. If he postponed such proposition, the Bianconeri would have good chances of landing him. He would close the circle since he has already played in most of the other top European leagues.
Juventus are waiting for his call, and they are ready to make a good offer to Di Maria. His entourage requested €7M per year in the initial talks. The sum is not excessive, nor much different from what the management had in mind. There will be further contacts in the near future.
The Bianconeri are looking for a left-footed right winger to replace Paulo Dybala. They have earmarked Nicolò Zaniolo and David Neres, who would be significantly more expensive, especially the Roma starlet. Signing Di Maria on a free transfer would allow Juventus to have more ammo for other acquisitions. In particular for their top summer target Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
Instead, the pursuit of Giacomo Raspadori does not seem to be directly tied to the PSG attacker. The Old Lady envisions him playing a different role. Such chase is more dependent on what will happen with Alvaro Morata and Moise Kean, who are on loan.
