Juventus Earmark Two Left-Footed Wizards to Succeed Dybala

Still working on their replacement options for Paulo Dybala, Juventus have earmarked Shakhtar Donetsk winger David Neres as a potential transfer in the summer, along with Paris Saint-Germain veteran Angel Di Maria.

Neres joined Shakhtar in the January transfer window after he was virtually ousted by competition in Erik Ten Hag’s squad, and Di Maria on the on the hand is approaching the end of his contract in the French capital, but nonetheless has the option to renew for a further year with Les Parisiens.

According to latest reports from calcio pundit Gianluca Di Marzio, the Bianconeri are currently in negotiations with the both the players’ representatives regarding a summer move, owing to the fact that the duo could be easily lured to Turin under favorable conditions.

Neres has a clause included in his Shakhtar contract that would allow him to leave under convenient conditions, given the uncertain future of the Ukraine giants due to the ongoing war against Russia. The 25-year-old proved to be a hit in his initial season at Ajax, and went on to register 47 goals in 180 caps for the Dutch giants.

34-year-old Di Maria is being touted for a short-term contract at the Allianz Stadium, given the fact that he wishes to end his career back in his homeland of Argentina. However, the ex-Real Madrid ace’s wage demands might just prove to be a snag in Juventus’ transfer hopes.

As Inter-linked Dybala plays out his final games in the Bianconeri colors, the club management is left with little time to finalize on who they want to bring in. All said, Roma talent Nicolo Zaniolo remains the primary objective for Juventus.
