Empoli Exec Discusses Milan, Inter and Napoli Targets

Empoli will have to fend off offers for several of their jewels in the summer. President Fabrizio Corsi weighed in on Kristjan Asllani, one of the biggest revelations of the second half of the season: “He earned his place in Serie A and has been thoroughly convincing. Our hope is to keep him for another season. We need to fill out the team more than we need to make money. We will have to defend ourselves in the transfer market.”

The midfielder has been previously linked to Milan and Inter. The Rossoneri could be more willing to acquire him and leave him on loan in Tuscany to complete his growth. Instead, the Nerazzurri are reportedly eyeing him as they are seeking a young backup for Marcelo Brozovic.

The Empoli owner also discussed Fabiano Parisi, who is on Napoli’s radar, in his chat with Radio Marte (via Tuttomercatoweb): “I talk with Aurelio De Laurentiis about a lot of stuff. However, we are not at the point where we are discussing numbers yet.” The fullback also drew the attention of Inter: “They have expressed their interest, but it is early. It will be tough to keep him, but we must be happy overall.”

Inter could sign the 21-year-old as an understudy to Robin Gosens if Ivan Perisic bolted. The parties stiffened up after his ice-cold statements following the Coppa Italia final. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus are ready to give him a two-year contract with €6M wages, as he requests.
