Whether they’ll manage to keep Sergej Milinkovic-Savic or not, Lazio will have to bolster their midfield next summer. They have been attached to a few names already, and the latest one is Barcelona’s Marc Casado. Biancocelesti scouts attended the recent game against Logrones, AS informs (via Calciomercato).
The 19-year-old has drawn comparisons with Sergio Busquets and is under contract until June 2024, but the Catalans hold an option to extend it. A few La Liga clubs are keeping tabs on him as well. He debuted with the first team in a Champions League game versus Viktoria Plzen in November.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Lazio have been offered Mateus Uribe, who could leave Porto on a free. However, coach Maurizio Sarri pumped the brakes to assess other options.
