Materazzi to Skriniar: “You Will Never Find Love Like the 80,000 at San Siro”

Inter icon Marco Materazzi has expressed his dismay at the way the Milan Skriniar’s negotiations has panned out with the Nerazzurri management. The Slovak defender is destined to leave the club after lengthy talks that practically led nowhere.

Speaking to DAZN (via FCinterNews) in an exclusive interview, the 2006 World Cup winner gave his opinion on the potential exit of Skriniar.

“In my opinion there are two different games: one is the expulsion, and it can be in the game. He had the choice to stay, so I think nobody should question his personality and his attachment to the shirt as long as he is an Inter player.”

Materazzi has warned Skriniar that he will not receive the adoration that the Interisti give him anywhere else.

“But I look at the room and tell you: remember that you will never find love like the eighty thousand people of San Siro and the Interista.”

Skriniar is bound to join Paris Saint-Germain after announcing his exit from the club. However, it is unknown whether he will join them this season or the next, as further details are yet to be communicated.
