Milan Skriniar’s season has seemingly come to a close in a premature manner, after the center-back was forced to undergo a spinal surgery due to problems in his back. Skriniar is set to join Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season, but it is reported that the Parisians are ‘reconsidering’ the decision to onboard him in the summer.
According to an exclusive from leading French outlet Le Parisien, there is a fair possibility that PSG could cancel the free transfer signing due to his recurring fitness issues. However, contrasting reports deny any such doing by the French giants.
Despite the last french rumors, Milan #Skriniar will be a #PSG’s player from July as a free agent. The deal is not in question. He has already signed a preliminary contract with #Paris and he will earn €9M/year + 2M as bonuses. #transfers

Skriniar underwent an ‘endoscopic operation on his lumbar spine’ at the Clinique du Sport – a facility that belongs to PSG doctor Christophe Baudot in Merginac, near Bordeaux.
It is estimated that his recovery will take longer than expected. As per La Gazzetta dello Sport (via FCInterNews), ‘the stopper will probably no longer wear the Nerazzurri colors again.’

Skriniar has been suffering from a back injury since mid-February, due to which Inter have struggled to find defensive consistency, falling to five defeats during the Slovak’s absence. His most recent appearance was on March 14th, in a 10-minute cameo against Porto in the return leg of the UEFA Champions League’s Round of 16.
Evidently, he is expected to miss both legs of the mouthwatering Derby di Milano UCL semi-finals against arch-rivals Milan early next month.
