Juventus-Linked Defender Address Past and Future Ties

Strahinja Pavlovic could have joined Juventus when he was younger, and he will be on their radar in the summer. The center-back discussed the rumors with La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“They were interested when I was at Partizan, but I have never been in Turin. They are a top club, and it’s always a honor to be linked to a team of this caliber. However, I’m focused on RB Salzburg now. We want to do well domestically and in Europa League. Then we’ll see what the future holds.”

“Dusan Vlahovic and I are great friends. We talk frequently and spend a lot of time together in the national team. It’s always a joy to play along with him. I wish he recovered as soon as possible. They need him.”

Pavlovic will face Roma and former Juventus star Paulo Dybala in the Round of 16 of Europa League.

“They are an excellent team and have a great gaffer like José Mourinho. Considering my role, I’ll have to face two top players like him and Tammy Abraham. We respect them, but we believe in our strength and we have a shot to be successful.”

The youngster looked back at the World Cup in Qatar.

“I will never forget it, especially for the goal I scored against Cameroon. On the other hand, we should have surely done better as a team.”

The Serbian defender and Evan N’Dicka were previously rumored to be in the Old Lady’s crosshairs, which will part ways with Alex Sandro at the end of the season. Instead, their other target Jakub Kiwior just joined Arsenal.
